(The Insomniacks performed at The Bee Publika)

On July 25th, we went to The Bee, Publika to watch The Insomniacks perform their own new singles, "Here Again" and "Selalu". Everyone had a great night listening to their amazing performance, it was a night to remember. On the next day, we went to meet with 2 out of 4 of the band members, Danial (guitarist) and Iskandar (bassists) to interview them. They are very bubbly, friendly and funny.
We asked them questions and their opinions on youth nowadays, and they think that using social media as a platform for youth to gain income is really good. they also believe that using social media as a platform can really turn youth's life into a career. they also gave advice to youth on how to become successful like them.
Insomniacks first started out just for them to have fun by doing covers on youtube, when they have slowly started to gain recognition, they began to take things more seriously thus, focusing more on their music career. After they've gain more popularity and started getting paid to perform at gigs, a local record label company began to take notice and later on signed them under their company which is sony music. Insomniacks havent officially released their first ever single yet but will release them soon.
In 2015, they only planned to do covers for fun on YouTube and then they decided to take the band seriously. Now, they have been successful and they have been making money through social media. the amount that they have been getting is enough for them to not ask money from their parents.
